1.0/5.01.0/5.01.0/5.01.0/5.01.0/5.0   Terrible Fit
Reviewer: Chev283 from Arizona     June 10, 2004
I purchased the front brackets for the Sanden compressor (passenger side mount) and the alternator (driver's side mount) for my Chev 283 (short water pump) in a '34 Ford. Absolutely the worst fit I could have imagined. The alternator set back about 1/4" from where it should, and was tilted back about 15 degrees at the top. The compressor mount was the same thing with the same set-back and tilt. I ended up cutting them apart with a torch and a sawzall and re-welded additional metal to them. I also had to make my own spacers for the intake manifold and the water pump to even come close. My old homemade brackets were better than these, and I made them out of scrap 3/16" metal.

5.0/5.05.0/5.05.0/5.05.0/5.05.0/5.0   Very pleased with product and company
Reviewer: Dennis58 from Grayling, MI     February 26, 2004
I purchased their A/C, Alt and PS brackets for a 502 Chev crate motor with the short aluminum water pump. Everything looks and fits perfectly. I had a problem getting the water pump and crank pulleys - My local Chev. dealer said GM didn't make a crank pulley to fit the 502 w/aluminum water pump. A call to Alan Grove got me the GM part numbers that I needed. The crank pulley did need to be modified to fit the 502, which explains why the dealer didn't have a part number for it. Good thing for me that Alan Grove had one in stock. Their tech people know their products. Try them, you won't be disappointed!

4.0/5.04.0/5.04.0/5.04.0/5.04.0/5.0   Perfect fit and advice
Reviewer: jalopy45 from Cotrpus Christi, TX     February 11, 2002
Not being sure of what would fit with an odd ball manifold and accesories, I called Alan Grove describing the vintage parts and he came up with the solution and parts. It all works great and like the previous review, no way could I have built these cheaper or as well.

I used there Ac and alt brackets when I installed AC on the 46 and they lined right up and are strong. Also I could not have made them cheaper myself. ROY
