Greg and Scott hosted HOSS [Impala SS club] for a tour of Phoenix Transmission Shop. We were very impressed by their work area (well organized and almost at a clean room level) and the level of experience of their crew. Phoenix works on stock transmissions, but also build to match your ride. You can order from existing stock or send your own transmission in for rework. They have done three of my cars so far and always been professional, knowledgeable and easy to deal with. The rebuilds work right the first time and continue to work after many miles and hard use/fun. We have probably 15 club members who have had the same experience. I would highly recommend Phoenix for both stock and custom transmission work.

i ordered and installed a phoenix 700-r-4 in a 82 camaro with a 375hp 355 ci chevy and a 3:42:1 rear end. 20,000 miles latter no drips, no runs, no errors.
Delivered on time with every thing i need to install including converter, detent cable, trans mount, and spec. camaro tail shaft housing for torsion bar, with mount. Friendly and knowledgeable
staff to deal with . top notch !!!
