3.0/5.03.0/5.03.0/5.03.0/5.03.0/5.0   Great wheels but bad customer service
Reviewer: Anonymous from Oregon     June 07, 2004
I had to wait almost two months for my wheels to be shipped. I tried contanting AR on serveral occasions and was ignored. I would not order wheels from them again. If the store has them in stock, they are great wheels and I would go for it. But if they have to place an order, forget it.

4.0/5.04.0/5.04.0/5.04.0/5.04.0/5.0   AR-767 NASSCAR wheels
Reviewer: 5.0Towncar from Oklahoma City     February 22, 2003
I found no trouble with AR, except the center caps are to expensive. My rims I got are 8x15 and were 52 bucks a piece. They expect me to pay $12.00+tax for each center cap?? Why?I've yet to buy any caps.

3.0/5.03.0/5.03.0/5.03.0/5.03.0/5.0   used wheels
Reviewer: Anonymous from woodstock ga     January 10, 2003
I got a set of 10.5 x 15 and was shipped one new and one that was a display wheel, it was not in a bag and the center cap was mounted, and out of round . Sent it back and got another wheel already road tested , again not in a bag, with brake dust in the nooks and crannies. Third wheel was new and true. So I say if you get their wheels make sure the box is taped, the wheel should be in a clear bag with a white plastic edge guard and have a booklet describing the product .............It may not be ARs fault , rather one of their distributors On the other hand the wheel polish for the alum. wheels works very well , good productlove my wheels

2.0/5.02.0/5.02.0/5.02.0/5.02.0/5.0   Chrome Rally Wheel
Reviewer: Outsider from Enola, PA     July 10, 2002
I purchased a set of 4 chrome rally wheels with center caps. The rally wheels were fine, but the center caps would not fit. I had three dealerships selling the chrome rally wheels try but all failed. I even took the rims and center caps to an American Racing distributor. They too could not get the center caps to fit. I was promised new center caps but I have not seen or heard anything from American Racing (this was more than 6 months ago). I've wrote letters, emailed, and made telephone calls, nothing worked. I rate most companies by several categories, but the two most important to me are the quality of their product and their customer support. American Racing failed miserably when it comes to customer support and the quality of their product is poor.

4.0/5.04.0/5.04.0/5.04.0/5.04.0/5.0   Chrome Reverse Rims
Reviewer: jalopy45 (jalopy45@hotmail.com) from Dallas Texas area     March 15, 2002
I've been using the chrome reverse rims from American Racing for quite a few decades. I guess I should say chrome smoothies or so the salesman tells me at the tire store. Never had a problem with them and the chrome plating is top quality. I have a set that is 12 years old and they still shine up like new and none of the plating has peeled yet.

4.0/5.04.0/5.04.0/5.04.0/5.04.0/5.0   Good selection of StreetRod wheels
Reviewer: Paco from Texarkana, Arkansas, across the road from Texas     February 19, 2002
I am on my second set of Torque Thrust II wheels in recent years and for cars or trucks that I have owned. I chose the American Torque Thrust II polished two piece wheels, mostly for price. They make a good product that will withstand the everyday use on your ride with general cleanup and upkeep. The chromed version is much nicer, but much more expensive also, therefore I stayed with what I know would fit my needs. This company has been around almost as long as I have and make good stuff that is still in fashion, especially if you are an older nostalgia rodder. Can't go wrong with this choice for your wheels, they never go out of style.
