I needed a custom driveshaft for my transmission swap, and Denny's provided several options - steel or aluminum; several diameters of DOM tubing; local pickup or shipped UPS. They have an exacting worksheet to determine exactly what you have and need, and my driveshaft was finished in two weeks (at the busy time of year).
$300 might seem like a lot for a driveshaft, but a new yoke is $90, and two u-joints at $45 each are another $90 totaling $180...Then you need the shaft ends and the tubing, plus welding & balancing...That's worth another $120 easily...Denny's parts are all new, not your old used parts beadblasted...
I can recommend Denny's with no reservations!

I needed a good solid driveshaft without using old and possibly fatigued parts. While researching I noticed that Denny's had an internet special. I gave them a call and found that, yes, there really was a $30 special, but that as a NY State resident that I would have to pay 8.75% Onondaga County sales tax. They 'adjusted' the price down by at least that amount over my normal 7% tax rate. Three weeks later, right on schedule, it showed up, super well packed. It was exactly as ordered, the total price well under $300, all new parts, and it was bolted in place within 15 minutes of receipt. Why pay over $100 more for one from California that is built using the same parts.
