Even though I read some negative responses on the Bulletin Board, I went ahead and ordered a new Grille for my '35 Coupe. When I ordered it, I talked to Dan Baker (the Owner) and was up front that I had heard some negative experiences, primarily in the area of promise dates. I asked him to give me a real date that I could expect it-he told me 12 Weeks-I was o.k. with that and I ordered it.
Well, I originally ordered it polished, and decided I wanted to have it chromed-I called him back about three Weeks after I had originally ordered it, and changed my order-he told me it would probably add about two weeks. Lo and behold, it showed up at 11 Weeks, chromed and ready to install-to say he does nice work is an understatement-I am very happy, and I would recommend Alumicraft-just be sure to discuss with him realistic ship dates-I think most people who are unhappy with him expect too much-
