I ordered on the phone a Camaro x pype assembly a week before thanksgiving, assured of prompt delivery, I paid by credit card. after numerous aditional callsIwas told that they didn't have the stuff at all, but were waiting on delivery! this went on for over a month! i was promised that they would "make it right" not charge for shipping............ well they charged my credit card the day of my order the full ammount never refunding a cent. when the stuff showed up (after Christmas!) Icould finally finish up the exaust, A whole lot of time wasted because they lied to me about availibility, I bet flowmaster or another supplier could do better. if you do buisiness with these people, try cod, so u can cancel when they pull these antics on you.

Response from Chris Casperson, Pypes Performance Exhaust:

We tried to 'make it right' via e-mail by offering a full refund of all charges in addition to allowing this customer to keep the product assuming this poor service occurred. The customer refused to give us his name and allow us to confirm this transaction took place. Please take into consideration his post was anonymous and that it may be a hoax. If this actually happened we apologize and our offer for a full refund with no need to return the product still stands.

On my '71 LeMans, the fit was excellent. Had some issues with the tailpipe fitment, but once I found 'the spot' (I had the tailpipes too far backward) the tailpipes fell right in.

5.0/5.05.0/5.05.0/5.05.0/5.05.0/5.0   Full 3" system w/ "x" on a 72 LeMans

I have a 500HP 468cid Pontiac engine in this car and it was recommended I go with a 3" system to prevent HP loss. I was concerned about fitting a 3" system underneath (especially fitting the tailpipes over the axle) but was pleasantly surprised when I installed the system in my driveway in just a few hours. Everything fit very well and I have no clearance/contact problems. Plus, the system sounds great. Nice deep, powerful sound, but not too loud. My only complaint was I didn't care for the look of the 3" plain steel tailpipes sticking all the way out the back. But that was easily resolved by making minor modifications to get the look I wanted.
