1932 Ford Roadster Hawaiian Historic

Call (858)755-5044 with questions. This is a real deal Henry Ford steel 1932 Ford roadster that is a piece of Hot Rod history. It was featured in the June 1959 issue of Hot Rod magazine. It won Best Roadster at the first 1957 Hawaii AutoRama. It was built by a bodyman in Hawaii named Gene Uyesugi. At the time it was featured it had front fenders as well. They have since been lost. Looking up underneath the rear pan you can clearly see where the exhaust used to come through and the recessed license plate, both of which have since been filled. Molded rear fenders, high headlights, rolled rear pan, 1947 Ford tail lights. It is channeled and the windshield is chopped. It sits on an original 32 frame. It is powered by a small block Chevy and has a rebuilt Turbo 350 automatic transmission. Newer exhaust that sounds great. Authentic 32 grill shell. Yellow California license plates. When I found the car it was a barn find 32 out of Northern California. I have since finished the engine and tuned it, rebuilt the carburetor, re-did all the wiring so all the lights now work, installed the rebuilt transmission, and a bunch of other little stuff. It runs well now and drives down the road. I have driven it up and down the coast a bit. I had the seat re-upholstered. The door panels are black tuck and roll. Steelies with dog dish hubcaps on Wide White Wall tires. This is a great opportunity to get your dream car at a ridiculously low price. It is not often that you will get a chance to purchase an authentic 1950s, documented magazine feature car.
