This Ford could be the most comfortable “Rat Rod” you will find. The restoration was just completed in June. It started out on a complete 1972 Olds Delta chassis, then the frame was shortened 2 feet. The 1929 Ford body was widened 9 inches. It has a new roof (not shown in pictures). It’s powered by a 455 motor with a 400 automatic tranny. It has a complete wiring harness from an Olds, an Olds dash, full size Buick seats and Buick rims. Options are power brakes, power steering and a third brake light. It also has cruise control which is not hooked up. The driver/passenger side windows are not installed, but the glass is available and included in the sale price. It does not have a headliner. It is a unique car that is in very good condition. You are sure to get a lot of attention taking this for a drive or to a show.
Additional pictures are available upon request. An inspection can be arranged by appointment only. If the car needs to be shipped, we will ensure the car is available for the transporter's schedule. I am a certified car appraiser who does marketing consignments for customers who don't have time to set up ads for their vehicle or don't use the internet. I charge a flat fee up front and do not collect any consignment fees when the vehicle sells. I am not a dealer. The vehicle remains in the owner's possession and I handle inquiries until they become serious at which time the owner becomes involved in the transaction.
