Description: BARN FIND !! (Well, garage find, lol) This car has been sitting in a garage since 1968 ! The undercarriage of this car, as you can see in the pics, have no rust whatsoever, with the right rocker, and rear quarter being the only places that rust got to, not bad in the quarter, easy fix. The car, had been painted at some time in it's life, (original color) and the door rubbers, are still soft, but are cracking, however, there is no water in the car, so they are still doing their job! The headliner is torn in the rear, at the top of the rear window, the front seat will need reupholstering, the back seat looks OK, but if you plan on using it a lot, it should be redone, The door panels are very nice for a 60 year old car! This car is in exceptional shape overall, and I believe it would be hard to find one in this condition, unless it has been restored, but this one is a survivor! I hooked the battery up, all the lights work, but, I noticed there is no turn signal switch, optional in 1953? The engine is all there, everything complete, as is the rest of the car, and it was running good when parked, it has stuck from sitting, and the owner has put Marvel Mystery Oil in all the cylinders, I have not yet had time to get it unstuck There are spare parts consisting of extra parking light, and tail light bezels, with no holes rusted through, that can be rechromed, a set of N.O.S. taillights, a factory heater core, and a Hudson factory heater, along with a heater control valve (new) and a heater control cable. there is an extra gas lid door, I don't know why, the one on it is nice, also, there is a Hudson factory radio, and antenna. The hubcaps are in a box, they do have some dings in them, but are OK for drivers, and the chrome is nice on them. The fender skirts are included, and are in very nice condition. Al in all, as far as a project, this would be an easy one, and one that could probably be driven while it is being restored! The paperwork that is with this car is UNREAL !! Even thee original installment contract from the bank is with the car, as well as the New Car work sheet from the dealership! Lol ! Please e mail, or call if you have any questions. I'm sure I have forgotten something ! As far as trades go, I love old antique cars, trucks, semi trucks, boats, motorcycle, and all things street legal in general, but will consider ANY vehicle, and would love a "driver" as I just don't have the place, or the money to do this car justice. Feel free to e mail, text, or call 352 551 7492Thanks for looking. Keith
