*Rare. - This is a rare model - total production number is exactly 3,133 (all engines and option / styling packages included). The original body color indicated on the fender tags was "Dark Red Metallic" w/ racing stripe package. The 383 option and this particular styling package make this car very rare.

VIN and Body Tags decoded - yes, available upon request.

Clear title, in my name, for both cars, is in hand. License tags are current.

Thoroughly test driven and all aspects checked mechanically. Engine is strong and smooth. Transmission shifts firmly. All suspension and steering components are tight. Amazingly firm in the corners. Goes straight down the road without wandering. Rides beautifully. Entire drivetrain is tight. No clunks, growls, ticking or smoke. No leaks. No overheating. Charging system is fully functional.

This car is mechanically excellent, which is a huge plus for anyone beginning a restoration project.

As you can see from the photos, the body is very straight. FYI, The current color is due to red primer with a light guide coat of black, so someone has done some very good bodywork on it and was in the final stages of paint prep. Very little exterior rust, and what is visible is surface rust only. Any previous bodywork has held up for more than 20 years. (All but one small spot, just behind the passenger door and about half way up, there is a crack). The lower rear quarters look great from outside but there is some rust through in the r side trunk area, so the trunk will need to be redone. The only other rust issue is a patchable spot in the L back seat floor. Note: Trunk repair panels also come with the car, and most anything you might need is available brand new online these days. However, nothing is missing for completion, that I can think of.

I do have a replacement fuel tank that needs to be mounted. There is a temporary fuel tank under the hood, so the engine can be started and warmed up. Can be driven onto a trailer. (Must be trailered due to development of hard braking since it was parked in the barn). Windshield is cracked. The interior will need to be redone. The front seats look pretty good, but the drivers seat has a seam starting to come apart at the top outer edge. The parts car has nice carpet and door panels in black.

Available rolling identical 67 Fury hardtop parts car, for nearly everything needed for completion! (Available at no extra charge, but not mandatory). Trim, badging, hood ornament, many duplicate parts to choose from. Has 15" police wheels. 6 in all, 2 with new snow tires mounted. The parts car had a revolving police light on top and no back seats. This car has a low production number and high resale value in itself. Photos available upon request.

There are some folks out there (craglst) who have offered to purchase just the title and fender tags. I will not do this. All tags are original to these cars and have never been removed.
