Description: Asking $43000. Or trade for a project 28-32 and $$$ And I promise you will never see another car like this!
She is an all steel 1946 Ford Tudor Sedan that was channeled over a 1988 Ford Ranger frame. The body was in imaculate shape when I started this project. Majority of the floors were cut out and replaced to do the channel job. Also, all of the body lines were filled and smoothed. ( I do have the hood for the car but haven't done any work to it. IE-not painted or notched for the pulley.)
She is running a fully rebuilt .030 over '71 Lincoln 460 block with '73 heads ported to CJ spec. The heads were also decked a touch to bump up the compression. Edelbrock Torker 2 intake manifold and a Holley 750 vac 2nds. The cam is a Comp Cams 'Xtreme Energy' 262/270 cam and lifter setup. New water and oil pump and is cooled by a new all aluminum polished 4 core Mustang radiator with 2 automatically controlled FAL fans.
For the exhaust side, I fabbed up some fender exit style headers with cutouts to either exit the fenders or under the car. The rest of the exhaust leads from the cutouts to an x-pipe then to thrush chambered mufflers and finally glasspacks to get her nice and quite. The motor is backed by a rebuilt C6 trans with a TCI 2000 stall converter and a B&M shift kit. The driveshaft was custom made by FleetPride with a new tube and u-joints. At the end of the drive train is a basically stock 7.5" Ford rear with new 3.08 gears.
The front suspension is a custom tubular solid axle drop spindle setup with a reversed triangulated 4 link. I used rolling lobe bags in the front due to lack of space between the frame rails and axle ends. They work great.
The rear suspension is a pretty standard triangulated 4 link setup with Contitech bags. The air setup consists of a Viar DC5000 compressor, a 5 gallon 8 port tank, and 4 dual solenoid blocks. All corners can be controlled individually. All of the air lines are 1/2" DOT. The wheels are 17" Voxx TQ Thrust knockoffs.
All of the wiring in the car is brand new. Actually, everything on or in the car is pretty much brand new. All of the glass and window seals, door, and trunk seals are new. I used 1967 Mustang seats with new upholstery for the front and a brand new CJ seat for the rear. The headliner is new from Macs auto parts. All of the door panels, center console, and rear shelf, were cut and covered by me. I also hand rolled the dash and covered it. Before laying the carpeting down, I placed insulation down from the top of the firewall to the trunk. Road noise is minimal.
The fuel system consists of a 16 gallon RCI tank with a Holley Black pump, 2 inline filters, and a Holley FPR. My wife came up with the genius idea to cover the fuel cell with the suitcase. Its always the main attraction of the car when we are at car shows.
I really can't think of what else to put here but please if your interested and have any other question, PM me. I know Im forgetting a ton of stuff being that there are so many new parts on the car. Thank you for checking her out.
Mike.......
