Description: Hello everyone, my wife and I have finally decided to sell our 66 beetle sedan. I was really thinking about making a V8 VW bug truck out of it, but Iím not getting much overtime at work so money is running low for the 69 V8 convertible bug, plus Iím running out of room.

Iím going to put it up on ebay probably sat or Sunday, but Iíd figure I would post it on a couple groups first to see if anyone is interested. If you have any questions feel free to ask me and if your interested shoot me an email with an offer to zbhover@yahoo.com
I donít have a trailer so youíll need to have one to pick it up in Glasford, IL, 61533.
If you just happened to have a 40ís-50ís truck or even truck body that youíd be willing to trade I might be interested too.

I donít have a title for it, the guy I bought it from bought it as a parts car, I bought it because I just couldnít pass it up. LOL
It would make a good parts car, or Iím sure if you had the right skills you could have it on the road again. Or maybe it would make a good V8 projectÖÖÖ.. OR???????????

The VIN is 116441388, the car is included, along with an extra set of doors, an extra front apron, and extra front axle beam, the incomplete engine that came out of it. I also have some more doors, hoods, windows, pop out windows, etc if your interested in that stuff too. The dollies that its sitting on are NOT included.

Here is what you will get:

The car is a bit rough; dented up fenders, dented roof, rusty floor boards, holes in heater channels, stripped interior, no engine, rusted out pass. Side lower door hinge, etc. but I wouldnít say that it is in horrible shape. It would make a good parts car for someone, or if you had the skills Iím sure itís restorable. It could also make a good V8 project beetle if you donít want to cut up a perfectly good classic beetle.

The tires are cracked up and donít hold air for long, but they will hold long enough to get it on a trailer.

The car was sitting in a barn for around 15 years before I bought it and its been in my garage since then

here you can see how the door is misaligned because of the rusted out lower hinge.

The engine has been pulled out by the last owner, but the transmission is still there, I think itís a swing axle trans.

the rear apron was damaged when the engine got pulled out.

The running boards are also rusted off, and there some rust of the rest of the lower body and its rusted through right behind the doors

Here is a look up front

the front apron is a bit rusty, but I have a spare thatís pretty solid.

Here is the spare apron that is included

Here you can see the dented roof, Iím sure if you pulled the headliner out of the car you could pop most if not all of those out.

The floor boards are rusty, more so on the passenger side than the drivers. I can actually stand on the drivers side.

both heater channels are rusted through also.

again the passenger side is worse

The dash, I donít have a steering wheel for it

Speedometer and fuel gauge

The battery area is also rusted out

Here is what is left of the engine that was in it. Iím not sure what size it is????? Its froze up and incomplete

Here is the engine lid that came off of the car, its in pretty good shape, just a little rust here and there

The doors on the car donít seem to be in too bad of shape, probably saveable. They are a little rusty especially at the bottoms so Iím including a spare set of doors. These were solid doors, and have been primed, but have started rusting from sitting for so long. I think you could save both sets of doors, but between the two sets you should be set.

Here is the spare front axle beam, itís rusty but seems pretty solid. The steering gear box still rotates.

Like I said if you are interested or have any questions email me at zbhover@yahoo.com
