For sale, 1970 Firebird. This car has the trans am package with the active shaker scoop. I would consider this car one of the rarest Firebirds produced, more so now that Pontiac is no longer in existence. The 1970 Trans Am was the fastest production car ever to come off the line. I am more into the big tire prostreet cars and it would be a sin to chop this car up.....
Car has an SBC 406 C.I. built right by Andy Jensen(Jensen's Engine Technologies). If you've never heard of Andy he is the best on the East Coast. The car has a 5 speed stick with overdrive and gets 19 MPG on the highway, cruising 70 mph at 2000 rpm's.
When you shift first, second, third and forth it is hard to wipe the smile off your face...Car also has line locks and 373 posi rear. It is adult driven and I don't race it but Andy says it would probably turn 12's in a quarter mile. I baby this car and wouldn't think twice about driving it anywhere!!
I had the car painted about 5 years ago. It is very nice but has some nicks and scratches 8 out of 10. Interior is nice but needs the headliner repaired. Will consider trades for big tire, prostreet car. or anything cool and fast. Give me a call at 570-332-7791
