These are ‘292’ (6272292) BBC heads, they came off a 402-454, 70-75 Pass, Chevelle, or Corvette. They are oval port heads. I have “fixed them up” with the following:
- hot tanked and MAG’d
- re-surfaced
- gasket matched the intake ports
- polished the combustion chambers
- bronze sleeves in the valve guides
- hardened seats for the exhaust valves
- telfon valve seals
- removed spring rotators and installed adapters
- 3/8 push rod guides installed (have 7/16 guides go with heads if wanted)
I had these on my car for about 1K miles, they ran GREAT! I now have a set of Aluminum heads I want to use. Hence these heads are up for sale. They would be great for any BBC street machine! …$700 plus shipping
