Description: 1948 Chevy 2-door stylemaster. Last make over was mid '90's with a light blue paint job with pin striping all around and even in door jams, under the hood and dashboard. Almost all the chrome has been shaved along with the door handles, and headlights are frenched in. Taillights are frenched in round ones that I have not been able to find online. Front seats are buckets from an '80's camaro along with the steering column (I believe that's the donor car). It has a front visor that I believe is the '50's model. Front end has been replaced with a early '70's nova front end. The battery and gas filler tube are in the trunk. The hood has some really nice louvers punched in it. I put in new dolphin gauges, painless wire kit, por-15 the floor board, new carpet (but I'm not an upholsterer) and a lokar shifter about 4 years ago. The engine is a 1964 283, with a torker intake, 327 heads, HEI ignition, and holley 600 cfm w/ vac second's. It has a TH350 tranny. It has power steering, and I installed a power booster for the brakes when I redid the whole system (still has drums all around). Issues are; back up lights not hooked up, needs new intake gasket, I have a mech. double pump holley I'm rebuilding to replace the current carb due to leaking gas, drivers sear has small tear due to wear and tear, there's only one seatbelt in the backseat (if this is a problem), paint has started to crack and you can see where it was shaved, there is a small rust problem on both front fenders near the back, lower chrome trim under the door was removed, and the rear shocks need new mounts in the back so it currently just has leaf springs. I've had this car since '04, and has been my DD for the past 4 years. Price is $9,000, but Iím open to any serious offers. I hate to see it go, but my family is growing, and there isn't heat or A/C in it. Any other questions feel free to ask.
