Position Description:
|
A manufacturer of medical rehabilitation equipment is looking for a working Supervisor in our metal fabrication department. A minimum 2 years of.experience is preferred. Responsibilities include supervising employees, scheduling jobs, and requisitioning required materials.
Experience desired in Set-up & operation of metal fabrication machines (tube bending, bridgeport, lathe, punch press, ironworker, band saws, belt sanders, etc.) and Troubleshooting equipment problems. Also Inspection of incoming material and Quality control of manufactured parts. Must keep work area and equipment in good order. Ability to TIG weld and assemble some products and sub-assemblies is desired.
This is not a "job shop" and work is varied and challenging.
Equipment is all manual operation, NO computerized multi-axis work cells, CNC or NC in this shop. NO robots!
Ability to operate a PC in managing the shop and dealing with suppliers is highly desired.
Must apply the old fashioned way IN PERSON and complete an application even if bringing a resume.
