SB2 Pistons by CP Pistons

I've got a set of dyno time only SB2 dished pistons manufactured by CP. Here's the story: I bought these from a fellow years ago off the Racing Junk website. He advertised them as 400 SBC forged dished pistons. When they arrived, it was apparent they were for an SB2 motor, although they were in exceptional shape. I failed at getting my money back so I got stuck with them. The box had a Job Number on it so I contacted CP to get more information on them. The motor they were installed in was part of a NASCAR effort. The motor was dyno tuned and was a back-up motor. The motor never was installed because there was a rule change allowing more compression. These pistons were removed and replaced with flat-tops. I don't know why one was missing but I purchased a new replacement and sent the other 7 to CP for inspection. They easily passed inspection and I got a letter from CP giving them their blessing. If anyone knows anything about CP Pistons, they are among the elite in forged piston manufacturing. These pistons are a .020" over size for a 4.125" bore or 4.145" bore. They have a 1.125" compression height. The replacement piston cost me $280. These have been sitting long enough. I'll take $325 plus shipping just to recover some of what I have into them. I'll post pictures as soon as my camera charges.

Asking Price: $325.00
