1937 Streetrod Gasser coupe
Do not let the photos fool you this is not a race only car. It is a street rod built to high standards to look & perform like a 1960’s gasser. It will take you to the cruise night or with the addition of a set of slicks run the quarter mile in under 10 seconds.
Lettering is on top of the clear coat which I believe will permit it to be removed without re-painting the car.
Roll bar is bolted in to NHRA specifications.
Tires are new street tires.
Performance
The car will and has consistently turned 9.9s @ 130 mph in the quarter mile using pump gas and the blower under driven. I have video files as to proof of the cars performance.
565 CI BBC full roller engine with aluminum heads and supercharged with an 8-71 roots type blower
The blower and engine has a grand total of six (6) quarter mile passes (shifting at 5500 rpm) and less than 100 street miles.
Trans - Glide C/W transbrake , hardened shafts - ATI fuel and Blown converter - TCI shifter
Rear end.
Fabricated Ford 9” from Chris Alstons chassis works (sold as “Fab 9) . Housing is a brand new piece that has been custom fabricated from scratch complete with a full back brace, fill and drain ports.
Two sets of Strange engineering axles are included Set one: 35 spline “Pro- race” axles Set two: 31 spline street / strip axles.
Two differential “pumpkin” assemblies are included: Pumpkin one: Strange engineering Pro Iron case / 35 spline spool / 4.11 gear ratio / Aluminium pinion support. Pumpkin two: Ford heavy duty 31 spline limited slip with 3.36 ( may be 3.56 I do not remember) gear ratio.

Rear: Halibrand 16 x 12 genuine magnesium wheels (from a 1960s funny car) C/W 345/55R/16 BF Goodrich Sport truck radials
Front: ET Gasser 10 spoke 15 x 4 C/W 155/80R/15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires
All tires have had so little use that the molding bumps are still on the treads.

Clear anodized aluminum panels with custom decorative bead rolling.
