1960 Baja Bug that I have had converted to a truck bed in the back by a professional hot-rod builder. Rear of cab is all hand fabricated steel, rear window (flat glass) uses a standard Bug rear window gasket. Front hood flips forward on custom made hinges to allow acces to gas tank and heater!!
Just painted with Sikkens 2-stage Urethane. Paint is show quality!
Truck bed hinges upward to allow access underneath. It is fabricated from steel tubing, with an aluminum surround and all new wood. Very nice!!
Has GM tilt steering column (S10) with custom aluminum dash and aluminum knobs/covers w/ Grant steering wheel. Brand new Beard grey tweed seats on handmade mounts. All new window gaskets, scrapers, weatherstrips just installed!
Front beam has adjusters welded in (stock width) with new link pins, bearings, shocks.
Motor is a 1776cc dual port w/ ported and polished heads, dual Kadrons, aluminum/chrome pullies, chrome shroud, customized tin and custom fabricated exhaust.
Has VW/Stewart-Warner gas heater installed.
