Sometimes,I don't know what I'd do without you guys ...I was watching MTV 2 the other day waiting for Slash to come on and there was this Rap video.Whoever the hell that the artist was,his video was full of those little bumble bees.Pretty neat little vehicle. All they did was do 360's in them, burning the rear tire down to nothing.By the way..I'm a Rock N' Roll guy..Not a Rapper lol ..Just thought that I'd mention that .

They've done songs for 2 movies;"The Italian Job" and "The Hulk".They did a cover of Pink Floyd's "Money" for "The Italian Job" and Weiland wrote a song,"Set Me Free" for "The Hulk".I'm not a big fan of Weiland, but I was a huge *** fan of GN'R.I'd love to see the old Ex-Gunners get back together like they are .I try to keep up with these things .Slash is the man.Anyway, their new name is Velvet Revolver.

Check out www.snakepit.org

Then, scroll down and click on the "News" section. They update it every other day and they post everything about the band. It's Slash's Fan Site.

Enjoy!

VElVET REVOLVER!!?? Youre kidding right!?? Might as well be called Fairy Twinkle Dust!!! What a crappy name. Aaaww man, that sucks,Velvet revolver. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Reload was a much better name!! Hope the new tunes arent as "fluff" as the name.
Yes i was also a huge fan of GNR. I even supported them after my city turned on them because of the riot at Riverport!! I still have the UYI1 cd cover that has "F### You St. Louis" written in the credits/acknowledgements. Say what you will, Now thats style!!
Ive never seen Slash perform live, hope they stop by.

I think the new tunes are going to be great.I don't really care for the name either, but anyway.I love the Gunner's and I might even become to like Scott,it's just that I was never a fan of STP.Oh yeah, about Slash performing live,I have the UYI 1 & UYI 2,live in Tokyo,Japan..It's 2 great hours filled with Axl's "Daisy-Duke" Spandex Shorts,Slash's Cool Licks, and Matt's Hard Hitts. That's the way I like to put it .Anyway, those guys are cool. You know the line-up right?

It's like this for anyone who doesn't know:

Scott Weiland:Vocals
Slash:Lead Guitar
Dave Kushner:Rhythm Guitar
Duff McKagen:Bass Guitar
Matt Sorumercussion

Yeah i used to have those 2 videos.(house fire) Used tro drive my friends crazy with"em...over and over. One of the things i still remember is seeing ol' Bill Bailey (AXL) passing out roses to the japenese crowd. Thats historic!

That's the truth.Axl was cool,he just had too much of an additude. Those guys were good and the remaining ones still are.Did you see the NEW GN'R that Axl threw together last year at the MTV Music Awards?

Yeah, outta shape running around outta breath trying to sing. What the hell is up with the guitarist w/ the chicken bucket on his head, is that supposed to be funny?? Kinda pathetic on AXL's behalf, if he woulda only knew where he would be ten years down the road. The "chicken" guitarist is really good, just not with Slashs riffs, but can you blame him?? The MTV MAs backed that alot of those cool ***** melodies came from AXLs input in the band.
AXL needs to get back on "Horse" and booze along with the other exmembers of GNR so they can get along again. WHATTA WASTE!!!

Well, there's this link on Slash's site and it's a radio interview with him and a DJ..Before Velvet Revolver started, and Axl showed up on MTV,Slash said that it would only take a phone call for him to go back to Axl and play..But now,he said on the interview that it was COMPLETELY OVER..There's no chance of him or any of the other members going back.Slash said that he should've started a solo project instead of ruining the GN'R Brand, but that's his business since he owns the rights..<-----That's a good point..Mr.KFC Bucket is called Buckethead. He wears that mask and the bucket because he's scared of girls seeing his face. That's what he said to MTV in an interview..I said,Come On..You mean this guy is suppose to replace the one and only SLASH!?!GIVE ME A BREAK .
