'02 silverado power mirrors

the previous owner pulled the power mirrors and put on "non-power" type that extend for towing.. i want to replace them to power again. my question is the plug looks standard whether it is a HEATED mirror or not.. where would the sw be to power the mirror heat. its safe to assume i don't have it for i don't see any sw anywhere for it.. i find mirrors for a good price that are heated and hoping they will work w/o heat sw.. bill

I don't know on the Chevy, but on my Ford, the mirror heat comes on with the defroster...... no additional switch
