Pull the Axle, and there is a stud for the alt bracket that may need to come out.It will EEK out and EEK back in.But it will fit, I have done it. You will have to "nudge the engine forward" a little.Dont recall nut size.
Taking off the exhaust and all that Is BS.

alt removal

i got it out....FINALLY !!!!!!!!!!!! as for measuring the nut size i need a class in reading the caliper i used.. was looking at the wrong spot on the slider, thats why i got it wrong... look up stupid and you'll see my picture.. yes droping the exh was not needed, but i did need to pull the alt bracket for more room.. if the alt was a nats butt bigger u'd need to pull the engine..
what a pain.. now tonite to put it back.. woop peeeeee
