03 gmc sierra

Hey guys,
I just picked up my new 03 GMC Sierra, however, those little daytime running lights are blown out. I was just wondering if anyone had any idea how to get into that tight space. Little off hotrod toppic, but im sure someone has one of these as an alternate car.
Thanks
Simon

LOL, I have a 99 that has had one out for 3-4 years. I just left it. Start watching and you will notice most every damn one of them has 1 out. I will look at my repair manual tonight for ya and see if there is an easy way to replace it.

Astrops,

I have a 2000 Sierra. I'm not sure if they are the same...

Anyhow, open the hood. Right above the headlight assembly should be two black metal rods. They are shaped like upside-down "L"s, about the diameter of a pencil. The long leg of the "L" is a pin that retains the headlight assembly, the short leg rotates into a retaining clip. You unclip the short leg, then pull it straight up and the whole headlight module pulls right out.

I don't remember of the DRL bulbs are part of that module, but even if they aren't, the lower light bulbs are then much easier to reach.
