What probably happened is that a steel cap was installed instead of the factory aluminum cap. The tire pressure monitor you need is part#40700-ck002.It retails for $93.75....make sure you get a factory cap or else the same thing will happen.(trust me, i work for nissan dealership)

The wife took it to WallyWorld to have the valve stem replaced. I find it hard to beleive that they had one in stock for the titan so I'm not sure if there is a universal type or not but my dash light is still on. The guy said something about resetting things to make it pick up the new sensor. Can you offer any insight? Thanks! |

Yes, they have an electronic "tool" that helps the system learn the new sensor,almost like programing a remote to a car.
