Gents,

I have a 1984 1/2 ton Chevy truck with 1" rotors up front. They have the 5x5 bolt pattern. Looking to get to a 5x4.75 bolt pattern.

Does anyone have access to a Hollander Interchange Manual that can then tell me if there is another rotor out there that will swap right out that has a 4.5x5 bolt circle? I heard through the grapevine that some GM vans might have a rotor with the small GM pattern that I am looking for.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks. Brent

Hollander will not tell you that info. And there are no rotors that I know of, i think Astro's are 5in as well.

82-92 Camaro / Firebird had a "RPO 1LE" option that included a 12" big brakes upgrade.

Minch discovered that the Camaro and Caprice shared the same front bearing package and quickly adapted the Caprice's big 12-inch front disc brake rotors onto the Camaro's spindles to replace the spindly 11-inch rotors. This obscure brake swap became the genesis for what would eventually be known by its Regular Production Option code: RPO 1LE.

I'd suggest calling SSBC at 800-448-7722 to make sure of the rotor diameter, bearing, and seal specs ... as they don't have that information listed. They DO say that this rotor has a 5 on 4.75 bolt pattern.

Summit also lists all of these rotors as "available".

As long as your truck is equipped with JB1 or JB3 brake option (Look at the Service Parts Identification sticker in the glovebox)

I beleive that your truck uses the same calipers, pads, and wheel bearings as an 87 Caprice.

You can't use the NAPA rotors, however, as they only list the ones with the 5 on 5" bolt pattern.
