1/24 model cars

does anyone do model cars in here? ive got so many ive done over the years. heres a list of what i have
**67 mustang fastback, originally 260, first engine dropped in was a 289. exhaust consisted of just white sidepipes. its white, has shelby cobra wheels, shelby gt350 side scoops, and a fabricated 69 gt500 taillights...as u can see this was an attemp to build a eleanor lol..i got tired of that, then dropped in a different 289 with a blower and a hilborn scoop, and a nascar radiator. the sidepipes changed to shelby cobra crome ones...now it has a custom fabricated roll cage, boned out interior with merely the driver seat. im working on an engine bay cage at the moment.
**53 ford flipnose with a 390 and waiend supercharger(however its spelled), distributor wires, and the flipnost was converted to a simple lift off hood.
**69 mustang with stock 428
**98 saleen S281 with custom chrome taipipes, instakked a cobra intake and painted taurus FL code
**99 cobra mustang yellow with silver stripes, 18 inch lightning wheels with a 5.4 and a supercharger. not to mention lowered
**MY FAVORITE-87 thunderbird turbo coupe, taurus FL as well, replaced 4 banger with a 5.0 and GT40 intake, lowered 2 inches scaled down on top of 5 star wheels and custom fit exhaust
**in the work on this very day, 56 thunderbird. 292 replaced with 429, lowered, rear wheel skirts, torque thrust wheels, completely custom interior, floor and door panels heated to fit, 96 cobra seats and dash, rear wheelwells tubbed, and ready to be painted a secret lamborghini code that i was threatened by my own dad to tell anyone! lol
**93 mustang cobra. was black, repainted orange. front suspension replaced with a custom fabricated K member, and control arms. rear tubbed to fit massive slicks, and 429, which will eventually sport a massive supercharger.
**32 ford coupe, 289. 289 was replaced with 428, but the brother stepped on it. fixed all damage to roof and front suspension, then stepped on it again!! its now in pieces in my parts box.....
**shelby cobra with custom ordered wheels from japan (not ricey dont worry) is sanded and ready for BMW electric blue, and wheels angled to turn left, since all the rest of my cars are turned straight! the original 427 was replaced with a different special ordered 427, detailed right down to the pistons, crank and rockers! im still amazed by this engine..i wanna put it in all my cars, but i dont wanna spend that much money just for an engine again

as u can see i really get into this. i used to do this all the time because i loved fabricating and modifying cars, but didnt have one to really work with til now, and thats why ive slowed down. so what all have any of u built? any pictures? i used to have tons but computer was reformatted and all pictures were lost

I never did any static models but I used to scratch build slot cars back in the days . I just started collecting again and been searching ebay for 1/32 scale kits(anybody got any spare PM me ) , were gonna build a MDF and copper tape track in my buddys' loft and see if our reflexes are still there.
Anybody know a good source for 1/32 scale decals ?, all the aftermarket ones I can find are 1/24 except for a few Indy ones.

Here's a Revell Cobra that escaped the ravages of the racetrack , but time hasn't been kind to the Cox real Magnesium Halibrands..........

did someone say models

I have been building models for 5 years now. My first project was a 32 Ford 3 Window coupe. I have shown them several times and have had some pics up on here. I have some pics of my current project, a 32 Ford Phaeton.

Slot cars were a big thing back in the 60s when I was a kid. I had a strombecker set. Always wanted to build a big layout in the basement, but never had the dough.

Slot cars are a lot of fun Fox , ain't enough room here to go into detail about how they work but basically .......................the motor picks up 12volt power through those braids that you see in my pics from the copper tape on either side of the slot , a hand controller , variable rheostat, between the power supply and the copper tape allows you to regulate the speed of the cars .
I might add that I'm more of a scale model racer than a slot car racer , I could never get into those shapeless blobs that go faster than the human eye can follow

That Phaeton is lookin' real good HRK , post some more pics as it progresses

Here is my '67 Mustang Fastback GT. I swapped out the 289 in favor of a 390 out of the Fairlane kit.
