1"DDx3/4"DD damper univ. joint?

Has anyone used one of these longer dampening univ. joints from either Borgeson or Flaming River? Just wondering how much they really dampen the road vibes. Going in a f/glass '32 Victoria.

I've got solid joints in my S-10, no vibrations, and only a slight rattle while going over RR tracks...

I used one from flaming river in stainless. Looks good and steering is nice and smooth, no noise, vibration, or rattles.

A little extra cushioning could never be a bad thing. Pricey though.
