1 Piece windows help
Ok I am a newbie here and have a problem maybe someone could help me with. I am wanting to do a 1 priece window conversion to remove the vent windows and was wondering if anyone new of where I could buy the window felt that goes in the channel on top of the frame and the rubber squegee stuff that goes in the bottom of the windo frame by the foot. Also as for getting new glass cut can I just go to any glass shop? Thanks, Paul

In a previouse post I told of using J.C.Whitney for a supplier for my window felt as I went w/one peice in my 'J'. (I'm sure someone will be able to quote the day,time and topic...) I just had it cut at the local glass shop. They have rubber strips also, but got mine at a swap meet. You should also extend the window channel bottom to support the longer window. Hope it helps

I will check JC Whitney Thanks for the tips, It is a pro-street 1984 GMC reg cab short bed. I have not seen anyone 1 pc the windows on one of these trucks and I hate the vent windows.
