Don`t waste the money on it, it won`t make any difference performance wise and the car won`t ET any different.

The octane will be overkill. Higher octanes burn slower and if your engine cant use it, it will waste it. As a general idea, go with the lowest octane your vehicle can handle (sort of like going with the smallest carb it will like).

As far as doin well, just focus on reaction times and such. Focus straight ahead. Dont worry bout the other driver. People can often lose a lot of time just in their reaction. Some people like to throw some ice on their intake to cool the incoming air. I havent done this before but if you can lower the temp of the imcoming air thats worth a few hp . . 1 hp for every 10 degrees I believe.

Im sure others will chime in with some tips.

Good luck.

Even if you are slow, make sure to make a lasting impression in their mind somehow. That way when you make your comeback you can take them by surpise .

Engine size means nothing as far as bracket racing goes....it's all about reaction time and having your car dialed in correctly.
