10si alternator noise

My alternator started making what I would call a bearing noise, so I replaced both bearings, installed new brushes, but the noise is still there! Could the regulator or diodes cause such a noise? I'm sure its the alternator making the noise because when I removed its belt, the noise stops.

Check the pulley and the belt. Also check if the fan is hitting the case.
None of teh electrical parts can make noise unless they are installed wrong and are hitting on something.

I have also seen where you need to loosen the case bolts and, give it a smack and re-tighten to properly align the bearings.
