12 bolt chevy

ok guys i think i really screwed up need some help bad i hade to replace my yock on my 12 bolt and its a brandnew rearend so i put the new yock in and now my rearend is kindda tight to turn did i screw up the pinion gear thank jerrod

You may have crushed the pinion sleeve too much when you tightened the nut. This will cause the pinion bearing preload and gear pattern to change- unless you have a solid spacer instead of a crush sleeve.

well do you think i should have the rearend checked from the guy who built it before i put it on the road i was also told that it might give me road noise and premature where the ring and pinion and bearring

If you got it too tight then you will probably have a pinion bearing failure. I would take it back to the builder and have him check the preload on the pinion bearings.
