12 bolt - decode some numbers ?

i just got a 12 bolt posi. 3969278 nf that looks up as 70-72 chevelle but i cant find this code any help would be great. code is CHC 2991F THANKS

From here:

"3969278" is a 1970-'72 Chevelle
"CH" Axle ID is a posi 2.73.
Last "C" is Buffalo plant.
"2991" I believe is the 299th day of '71.
"F" = shift code, or ?

Of course, the ratio (and even carrier) may be different by now.
