12-Bolt Posi

I picked up a '66 12-bolt, 3.31, posi unit for my '67 and disassembled it as far as my limited rear end expertise allows, i.e. axles and the carrier are out. It's an Eaton unit and I have to assume it needs rebuild.

Having never tackled these before, does anyone have a step-by-step guide for the "knowledge-impaired technician". Also, what do I look for in terms of bad posi parts?

Thanks.

I've never had an Eaton unit apart... no help there.

I moved your duplicate post to the dump.
