14 bolt 3.375" 4 link brackets

Where can I find the brackets to mount a 4 link to the GM FF 14 bolt axle with a OD 3 3/8"? I only seem to find them for 3" axles...

As far as I know, you won't find any. I did a rear with 3-1/4" tubes, I took the 4 brackets and bolted them together in a stack and chucked the whole stack into the lathe and bored the brackets out to the bigger size. It was the easiest way I could think of to make them all precisely the same. The same thing could also be done on a Bridgeport mill with a boring head also.

The instructions(Competition Engineering IIRC) said to use a die grinder to enlarge the holes if needed, but that seemed pretty imprecise to me.

An alternative would be to find someone in your local area with a PlasmaCam cutting system or a WaterJet cutting machine and have them made to your spec's.

Thanks,

Pardon my language but it appears that "broke dick racing" has em for 3.5"

I dunno if I can get em like that (too big) and just try and get the gap to be the same for both sides?

OH! I forgot about taking some in (For small templates) and poppin em into the cutting machine but larger. The welding school I went to has one and they like it when people take in stuff for them to do (good learning).

Worst case that's what I'll do.

Good IDEA!
