1406 edelbrock carb help

im rebuilding 1406 edelbrock carb and i might have run into a problem...i am looking at a exploded view of the 1406 carb and in the print they show a pump discharge weight and a pump discharge ball the kit i bought comes with 2 of these balls but i dont see a pump discharge weight and i didnt see one in the carb when i tore it down...will i need the weight or do i just use 1 check ball or both and not worry about the pump discharge weight...i bought the carb used so im not sure if the carb has been gone through or not but im hopeing im not missing parts...all seems to be there but the weight...looks like the weight is about 3/16 round by maybe 3/8 long..

You could try 2-3 balls (extra(s) acting as a weight), or a ball followed by a short piece of brass stock like brazing rod.
