I would look in Hemmings or online at hemmings.com in the services section or the Chevy parts section. It may be hard to find one for that, but there are several companies that do rebuild services and you may have to go that route.

HEY GINGER: J.C. Whitney sells an electric fuel pump, 6 or 12 volt that you can mount by tank. It will push fuel thru existing fuel pump so it will still look orginal. Cost is $ 40.00, part number is 73UF0906P for 6 volt. I have one on my 54 Chrysler and it works great. WWW.jcw.com DAVE

Thumbs up re: 1928 Chevy Truck Vacuum Fule Pump

Good suggestion Dave, and if they need the vacuum to operate the wipers there are vacuum pumps available ,too. Whitney's probably carries them as well.

not to take away from anyone here, but you may want to post your question here also, www.chevytalk.org in the 1912-1928 Chevys forum. There are few older guys here that has the answer to just about anything you ask about these old trucks & cars...joe
