1929 Dodge door repair
Hi all,
I have a '29 dodge I'm resurrecting. The doors arn't bad, but the hinges are stuck and there is the typical rust along the bottoms After messing up the sheet metal trying to get the pin out of one hinge I've decided to remove the hinges and fix them off the body. trouble it the hinges are riveted on. It would be really nice if the door skins were off so I could get everything working then put the skins back on. I could also re-rivet the hinges this way. Am I crazy? Should I just deal with it and weld the hinges back on?? Here a door, BTW the whole car has been painted with an undercoating, but it comes off pretty easy, thats why the door looks weird

That door looks like it needs a new door skin and it may be the easier way out to make a new one and while you are in there fix the hinges..just my opinion..
