1930 frame fit a 31 roadster pickup?

Have a 1930 tudor sedan frame and want to know if a 1931 roadster pickup body will fit ? Any help appreciated!

Yes the roadster pickup body will fit on it as all 28-31 frames were the same. I can't remember for sure but I think you may have to do some reworking in the rear area to mount the box. Check out this link for an original drawing and the dimensions of those frames.

About the only differences are the way various components mount to the chassis (bolt hole, basically) - but the side rails, cross members are virtually identical, as HomeBrew stated, 28 to 31. If there is a different frame, it's the '28, but that is really only how the engine mounts. '30-'31s for sure are about as close to identical as possible. I originally had a slant windhield fordor sedan on the (aftermarket) frame I'm using for my roadster.

No problems at all. The box mounts on 2 large wood blocks on the frame rails out back.
There are only small differences in the frames from 28-31, a couple bodies have extra mounting brackets towards the rear, but they don't interfere with any other body if they are there.
