1930 Model-A putting a removeable top

I am getting ready to cut the roof off of my 1930 Model-A Pick-up & turn it into a Roadster pick-up. But I don't want to change the front window, has any one done this. I like the look of the visor so I am thinking about leaning the post back 1 to 2 inces. And cut it just back of the door post, making a spot to set the front of the folding top on. Me & my Dad built it over 15 yrs ago, I wanted to build a roadster then but we found a reg pick-up body so it never happened. My Father has pasted now & it is over do for a rebuild. I cut 10" from the bed & added a small wondow to the cab yrs ago so I had more leg room. I found a alum. folding top frame at a swap meet, so I want to put that on it. Just looking for some tips if any one else has done this before.

Thanks Bill

Before you get the cut off wheel out, I suggest that you take some side and 3/4 front view photos and either Photoshop them or cut and paste. This can be a real ugly mod if not done with lots of thought and planning as that visor really does not enhance a coupster (or in your case a pickster). Find a picture of a cabriolet and add the visor.
