1931-33 chevy truck headlight retrofit? How?
I have ran into a snag. I would like to know if there is a way to put a modern (round) headlight bulb into a 1930's chevy truck headlight bucket housing. I want to get away from the 6 volt bulb, then having to buy a 12 volt to 6 volt resister, then having to buy a new bulb socket wiring harness and stuff. I am imagining if I could figure a way to mount a later, more modern (sealed) round headlight bulb into the old 1930's headlight bucket housing that I would have my problem whupped! Does anybody have ANY ideas on what I should do here just short of having to get on ebay and buying a whole other headlight bucket assembley.
