1931 chevy 5 window coupe build thread

Ok guys, this is what I started with. Original motor, trans., and rear.

doing some bodywork, a little dent in the top and a few in the fenders. Also painted the dash.

pulled the motor, trans, rear end. replaced rear with 2000 S-10. Motor with 4.3 V6. and the trans with a 2004R.

took it apart to replace stock front end with mustang II. Also painted firewall.

got the frame boxed, and mustang II welded in. pics. of lowered rear. And as bad as I hated to do is cut my fender to make room for upper a arm.

How about making a bullet style blister that you weld to the fender? Use a piece of thin wall tubing and a couple weld caps, then cut the tubing to use 90 segment. Some ideas here too: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/s...d.php?t=166194

got my steering done, brakes on the front. and electric fuel pump mounted. Also got a new set of tires on the back.
