1931 ford 5 window coupe

Hi I'm a new member. I owned a 56' Chevy Bel aire post in the 70's then built a 71 Nova in the 90's. Now at the age of 46, my kids are grown. I'm now starting a 31' Ford I hope to complete within a couple years. It has a TCI frame, 4 link front and rear, small block Ford, T-10 trans, Ford 9 inch, disc brakes all the way around. I've chopped the top 3 inches and filled with 4 rib roof. I have a couple questions. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find some rain gutters for my coupe? Also, will a three inch set back firewall with a small block ford on a TCI model A frame fit?

Snyders Antique Auto has sedan rain gutters. Maybe they can be cut down for a coupe. Email them or give them a call.

So does Mac's Antique Auto Parts:

As far as the firewall. What I would do is to remove the original one, with the body on the frame. Mock up the installation of the engine and drivetrain. You can then determine where the rear of the engine will be in relation to the firewall. The exact location is hard to guess, as the cooling system (water pump, radiator, fan, and belt pulleys) will have an effect on the engine location.
