1931 tudor Headliner

I have a kit from Le baron Bonnie I picked up cheap . It has directions on the headliner saying it should be installed loose and the side panels will tighten up material . Has anyone ever did one and could shine a little light on it for me .

No, a headliner should not be pulled super tight to start with, but it shouldn't be left loose either. The main thing is to get the headliner centered front to back and side to side first before you finish it. Check out this thread, especially post #7 through #10. CLICK HERE
