That would be completey up to you. I will say that converting to a modern front supsension and steering system has its advantages but will take a big hunk out of your wallet. I wish now I had stayed with the original style front end and lived with it. In your case....you might look into the available shocks, or coilovers, slipper springs, etc etc that Speedway Motors sells. It would be much cheaper and have a more original look. I wanted to upgrade mine to act like a modern suspension with a modern drivetrain. To each his own in this trade. Everyone has preferences. Nothing wrong with using that 454/400/9" and the four link setup for the rear. It'll save you some serious dough. Best of luck on your build. Welcome to the site. Keep us updated. Have you added any pictures to your profile? There is also a wonderful project journal section that you can use.....just add your pics as you build your machine. Dave G |

You need to look in carnut.com. Go to 'car pics index", then "chevy", then 1932. You will see different build styles:
- streetrod style -billet style -old school style etc They use different drivelines, different suspensions. Plus figure out where you will drive (road types) & how much you will drive (like long trips or not), so you can make a good choice for chassis stuff. Pick a style and stick with a plan. Mixed styles sometimes don't look so good. |

You probably have a little less engine bay space than I do...I'm not sure though. Trust me....folks have been stuffing big blocks in these old cars for years. You can make it fit.
I like that style of car....the picture! That will look slick. Have you gone through the project journals yet? As far as signing up....sent the admin a pm with a different password I believe. He'll set you up. Dave G |
