1933-34 ford headlight stands

can you use chopped headlight stands with commercial headlights. Secondly can you still purchase stock height (plain headlight stands, every where i look all i find is chrome or stainless). Any help would be appreciated. I am putting comercial headlights on a 33 3-window.

I believe that the chopped stands will work with the commercial headlights.

Doug T's 34 coupe with Comm headlights

IIRC the Commercial headlights are more cone shaped on the back...so they should clear the fender. (looking at the pic in the wescotts catalog it looks the other way around...so now I'm confused.)

Try CW Moss for the painted stands if speedway does not have them. Wescotts has them plain.

I took a set of chrome ones and bead blasted them ... and then had them powder coated black ... on a friend's black 34.
