1934 chevy 1/2 front end
I purchased a 34 chevy 1/2 pickup. It's completely disasembled. I plan on hot rodding it some day. It has a early nova rear end and wet brakes on the front. I'd like to build a sixties style rod. I don't want to use a mustang to front end. This is my first rod project. Can anyone point me in a good direction to build a trustworthy front end

wet brakes on the front. Any idea of what frontend you have??? pictures?
Check out the guys at Jim Meyer racing, they make some nice stuff, and it isn't MustangII.
I just did one of their bolt on kits for a 56 chevy. They have a kit for your truck as well..

'34 Chevy 1/2 ton fron end
I'm in the process of building a chassis for a '33 Chevy pickup for a friend. I found that it's hard to get the stance I wanted with the parallel springs, so I build a new front clip for the frame fashioned after a '33 Ford frame. That way I can use an after market front cross member, dropped axle, etc. We aren't running fenders so this was a way to clean up the exposed frame rails too.
If you're going to run the fenders and hood, you could just replace the stock front cross member with the Ford one and crop the stock frame horns to match your fenders.
