1935 Ford frame Question

Hi! I am looking for a frame for a 1935 Ford 1/2 ton Pick-up. Every lead we have had for a frame (1935-1940) haven't worked out, so we are trying Craigslist and eBay. I found a 1938 Ford Truck Chassis Frame 3/4 Ton or 1 Ton, but do not know if that would work for the 1/2 ton. Does anyone know if this would work out? Thanks!

Hi, I can't tell you if the 3/4/1 ton frame will work, but I know a guy who has them that he modifies (and sells)-he had a stack of about 10-12 last time I was there, and if he doesn't want to sell them, I'll bet he know where there are some (and he's a heck of a nice guy to boot)-btw, you are aware that the 1/2 Ton and the Car Frames are the same '35-'40, correct?

Hi 35WINDOW! I did not know the frames are the same. Jim (he is doing the re-build) thought so, but wasn't sure so he didn't ask me to look for those. Thank you so much! I will look for car frames now, hopefully I will have more luck! Best, Monique

There are reproduction frames available for those which you may wish to consider as having new metal is a good thing..

I have tried most all of it and now do what is known to work..
