Steeling your body

My son has a 34 chevy pickup. most of the wood is still there but needs replacing.I made a steel body sub structure for my 29 nash roadster. I used my old Harbor freight pipe bender, Marked the sq tubing with chalk about 1 to 1 1/2 inch and pumped the jack with the round dies and watch the end of the tube move. then worked along the length until it matched the patterns I had traced on cardboard. I bought the HF tubing roller, I have to modify the drive wheel( big steering type wheel) , the allen screws stripped. I usually have to mofify most of the HF stuff. but it's a starting point. ....Have you checked out Cboys E-book, the scratch built hot rod. free here on Hotrodders, He has a lot of good build picts and info, tools and tricks. just click on the Ebook link at the top of this page.
