Does anyone know how to remove a window from a 1936 FORD Cabriolet??
Again if you have glass coverage let the glass co. do it. If not you have to take the door panel off, if you have inside door handles and window cranks they will have to come off, if you have a widow molding along the inside top of the door that might have to come off. Pull the door panel off, and with the widow down some take the bottom part that hold the glass out of the Part that cranks up, once you get that out, turn the glass 90 degrees, and push up though the slit in the door where the window goes. you have it out. By the time you have the door panel off, the glass guy will have the window out, and half way back to the shop to get the new one.
Getting the bottom piece off the glass, sometimes can be hard as they use a glue or sealer on it. You don't want to break the glass, because nobody might have a pattern for it.
Sometimes too much to drink,
is still not enough.
