1937 Chev sedan radiator support question
I have had to replace the radiator on my 1937 chev and the new radiator is thicker than the old. As a result it will hit a support rod that is about 12 inches up from the bottom of the radiator. Can this rod (looks like a pipe almost) be cut and just left out, or do you think it will need to be cut and extened toward the rad more than rewelded in to the old mount. The factory piece was not bolted in but spot welded in and part of the original radiator support shell.
